Welcome to our monthly edition of our Partner Spotlight. This month we are focusing on Penn State World Campus, the online campus of Penn State University. While they have been a long-time client and loyal user of SmarterMeasure, more than that, they have become a trusted partner. A partner is defined as someone who takes part in an undertaking with another or others and shares the risks and rewards. That’s exactly how we would define our relationship with Penn State World Campus. Since 2010, they have invited each new World Campus student to complete the SmarterMeasure Learning Readiness Indicator. When students complete the assessment, academic support specialists review the results in order to effectively communicate with the student and direct them to the appropriate resources. Penn State World Campus has chosen SmarterServices as a partner to include in the Penn State EdTech Network. The network partners provide products and services that enable Penn State World Campus to maximize efficiency while supporting students with readiness, coaching, and tutoring resources. The purpose of the Penn State EdTech Network is to actively promote collaboration among companies, students, faculty, staff, and alumni to foster the development of transformational educational technology. In addition, the network exists to continuously support the growth of Penn State World Campus, the educational technology work going on throughout Penn State, and the global online learning community. We are honored to be selected as a Penn State EdTech Network partner.
The Penn State EdTech Network is led by an executive leadership team and is comprised of administrators and professionals with a lifetime of experience in a wide variety of positions in higher education and private industry. Many have been with Penn State in some capacity since the founding of Penn State World Campus in 1998. They share a mission to grow World Campus and push the boundaries of accessibility and interactivity in online education.
We believe in partnerships and building relationships with our client schools. Doing so better equips us to meet the needs of their students. In addition, it aids us in understanding the challenges that schools face. Strong relationships between clients and vendors that grow into partnerships ultimately benefit students and THAT is why we are in business! It’s a win-win-win!Share This:
