Learning Readiness Indicator (LRI)
Quantifies a learner’s level of readiness to study online and/or in a technology rich environment by measuring non-cognitive variables of Individual Attributes (motivation, procrastination), Learning Styles, Life Factors (time, support resources), Technical Skills and Competency, On-screen Reading Rate and Recall, and Typing Speed & Accuracy.
Competency Based Education Readiness Indicator (CBERI)
Quantifies a learner’s level of readiness to study in a competency based education course or program. Measuring goodness of fit in 7 areas including Situational Awareness, Individual Attributes, Self-Assessment of Competencies, Life Factors, Learning Preferences, Self-Efficacy, and Personal Perception of Non-Cognitive Attributes.
Teaching with Technology Readiness Indicator (TTRI)
The standard TTRI is a 103-item assessment that measures readiness in 7 areas to determine if faculty are prepared to teach in an online course or high tech environment. The seven sections include Technology Skills, Regulation Skills, Teaching Skills,Technology Integration,Technology Vocabulary & Access, and Keyboarding Software. Implementing the TTRI allows professional development teams to identify qualified faculty and recognize gaps in training resources.
Writing Readiness Indicator (WRI)
A 30-item assessment measures readiness across three concepts—Writing Apprehension, Grammar, Usage, and Style, and Structure of Academic Writing—to identify learners who may need additional testing and support to be successful in a college-level course which requires writing skills.
Math Readiness Indicator (MRI)
A 30-item assessment measures 24 math skills grouped into ten concepts to identify learners who may need additional testing and support to be successful in a math course. Concepts include: Whole Number Computation, Factoring, Decimals, Equations, Fractions, Percentages, Integers, Currency, Time, and Geometry.
